This is an 8 1/2" X 11" page of a typed letter from JOSEF HOFMANN to Mr. W. T. Inness. Letter is dated May 2nd, 1943, written while in Hollywood, California.
Letter is in Mr. Hofmann's appreciation of Mr. Innes' letter and notifying him of the possibilities of his playing in Philadelphia winter of 1944. Mentioning as well their mutual friendship with Constantin von Sternberg. Of most interest is the handwritten post script acknowledging that his son Edward is doing much better since going to California.
